La Flor Dominicana 25th Anniversary – Box of 25

The La Flor Dominicana 25th Anniversary has a lovely chocolate brown wrapper with a little tooth and grease.

Squeezing it reveals that it is pleasingly malleable, and the flat gold band appears to have been designed to be wrapped around it.

Dark chocolate, nutmeg, cedar, leather, earth, and barnyard combine

almost startlingly powerfully in the fragrance from the foot and wrapper,

and so these characteristics are also present in the cold draw, along with aromas of leather,

cedar, hay, black pepper, spice, and a tiny bit of marshmallow sweetness.

Although the cigar’s name suggests that it was created to celebrate its 25th anniversary,

the brand La Flor Dominicana, established in 1996, is not the one celebrating its 25th year.

Instead, the release honors Litto and Ines Gomez’s 25 years of involvement in the cigar business, which began with Gomez’s first cigar, Los Libertadores,

which he created with a business partner two years prior to the establishment of La Flor Dominicana.

La Flor Dominicana 25th Anniversary cigar is a super-premium, powerful yet mouth-watering Churchill blend. Very satisfying after a large meal and a few cocktails.
